@adnang123 The debt never goes away if you don’t deal with it. you either need to file a chapter 7 or do debt settlement.

I had bad credit card debts (around $100k) for a couple of years (since last missed payment). I’ve changed my tel number and address and no one is bothering me..

SHould I apply for bancrypcy? or hold tight for 5 more years or so untill they go away from my Credit report (Transunion and Equifax) WITHOUT the Bancrypcy?

In another words: would these bad debts and collection agency calls and Inquiries stay for ever (if i didn’t apply for Bancrypcy)?

Here’s my trick that me and my wife do, we always and I mean always pay our credit card off before the end of the month, and…..no interest. There’s more, we use are credit card for almost everything, don’t use cash much, because we collect the air mile points which can be redeemed as cash, we just redeemed $500 into Home Depot $50 coupons, and use it for home inprovements. Which in-turn icreaseas our homes value

I bet this guy has saved many people from sticking their heads in the oven. Have you ever heard of the movie Maxed Out?

careymahoney1974 February 3, 2012 at 10:04 am

Why are you scared? Come on man.

Be a man, and remember that God did not intend for you to be scared through life.

If you can’t pay, then don’t worry about it. Pay for your shelter, your food, and your basic bills. I have gone one year and not paid them. All they do is harass me, and they do it illegally; they have judgements on me, but they will never collect.

If you need credit down the line, then play the game and throw them a bone.

No. An employer cannot discriminate against an employee who files for bankruptcy. They can lay you off for other reasons during your bankruptcy, but you cannot be fired from a job simply for filing for bankruptcy.

Can a person be fired from their job if they file bankruptcy (credit cards), legally? I dont own a home and know that it is apparently legal to be denied a rental home if one files. Can you also be “kicked out” from your present rental home? These are the stigmas I see. Its like a modern day debtor’s prison and is very stressful and scary.
