Help answer the question about debt negotiation settlement
How can i raise my credit score if i have 6 accounts in collections and i am paying on a student loan?
...it seems like going through a debt settlement, debt negotiation settlement or consolidation, or negotiation is something I can do on my own, i'm just not sure if this will raise my credit score if all my accounts are 2 years past due and I have no current open accounts. I can't even get approved for an unsecured credit card to boost my credit score. Please Help!

I was raised in a family of bad credit and bankruptcy and as a young adult I had no appreciation for the importance of my own credit. Best Credit is not going to tell you how to cheat your way to a better score (it took a little bit of cash to fix my past sins), but its going to tell you EVERYTHING you need to do to be efficient in your endeavors!
